Lingxuan was introducing some books, so I thought, "I might as well do so."

MUST-read(s)
Nora Roberts; Born O'Hurley
Fern Michaels; Nosy Neighbour
Johanna Lindsay; A Man To Call My Own

Read(s)
Jayne Ann Krentz; Trust Me

If you MUST(s)
Meg Cabot; The Mediator
Jayne Ann Krentz; Summer In Eclipse Bay

I adore Nora Roberts and all of her work that I've read.
"Born O'Hurley" was no different.
Splendid, wonderful, awesome, amusing, fantastic, marvellous and lovely.
I really enjoyed myself.
Iloveit.

"Nosy Neighbour" would have been quite average had it not been for the characters and the plot. Had it been only on romance, it would be a dull read. Thank heavens it was not so. The plot is thrilling. I've always love a well-written piece of thriller-and-romance, especially more so if the FBIs or the CIAs were involved in the story.

"A Man To Call My Own" is so extraordinary, because you really feel for the characters in the end.

I borrowed two of Jayne Ann Krentz work, but the font of the book is so tiny. It turns me off. Just judging by the summary, I assume that, "Trust Me" would appeal more to me - the plot.

I do not recommend "The Mediator" unless you're really bored. This is quite mediocre. Not Meg Cabot's best writings. The language is nice, but the plot is downright boring.

I would not be reading "Summer In Eclipse Bay" either. The font and the uninteresting summary is enough to keep me far away from the book and sought out other activities.

PLUGGED] Lingxuan (for the idea)

[edit]
One thing I love so much about Jayne Ann Krentz's "Trust Me" is the way her characters are slowly, but surely, introduced in. It makes you let down your guard, and love the characters so dearly.

Makes me wanna roll my tongue and exclaim with a really fake french-italian accent, "DDDAARRRLLIINGG"
